The GOTHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL is a special event and incredible day when literally the entire hot jazz & swing community comes together… be it musicians, dancers, or jazz fans.

Many people tell me this Festival is their favorite event of the year… it’s simultaneously a music festival with incredible live bands & artists, and a swing dance with all your favorite bands on one day. It’s a choose-your-own adventure to sit and listen, get up and dance, or do both!

At PROHIBITION PRODUCTIONS, we produce over 300 events per year in NYC, each with live hot jazz and swing bands. The Festival is our way to celebrate the previous year, and look forward into the future.

This year we started GOTHAM JAZZ INC, a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, to help further the mission of spreading live jazz and social dancing to the public. Your tax-deductible donations are a meaningful way to support the Festival, and keep jazz alive, maintaining a thriving jazz community year round."
