New York City, April 2, 2026 — The GOTHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL is a beloved annual all-day music experience at the elegant 3 West Club in midtown Manhattan featuring New York City's best hot jazz, swing and blues bands in back-to-back performances by nearly 100 musicians in 15 ensembles.
The Festival welcomes anyone who loves jazz for lounging, listening and dancing. Guests can self-curate their experience choosing to attend the first half, second half, or the full day. Attendees will step into one of the city’s most elegant social clubs, offering both expansive ballrooms and intimate salons. Enjoy a cocktail and conversation accompanied by the sounds of a solo piano — or feel the energy of a full band in a packed room where the dancing audience becomes part of the show.
The 2026 lineup includes a powerful lineup of 15 acts — comprising nearly 100 brilliant musicians (including several Grammy nominees and winners) who have been featured on Broadway stages, on film and television, and in jazz clubs all over the world. The Festival is proud to welcome globetrotting headliners The Hot Sardines, Eyal Vilner and Gordon Webster; hometown NYC favorites Alphonso Horne & The Gotham Kings, David Ostwald’s Louis Armstrong Eternity Band and Hot Toddies Jazz Band; and rising stars Summer Camargo, Mathis Picard, Bryce Edwards, AC Lincoln and Dewitt Fleming, Jr. Additionally, jazz insiders will be able to show their appreciation for legends including Terry Waldo, Jon Weberand the late and lamented Ken Peplowski.
The Festival is produced by GOTHAM JAZZ INC., a 501(c)3 nonprofit whose mission is spreading appreciation of live jazz performances and social dancing, and co-presented with Prohibition Productions, the largest independent producer and promoter of vintage-inspired hot jazz and swing dancing events in NYC. Festival founder Patrick Soluri is the director of Gotham Jazz Inc. and the executive producer for Prohibition Productions.
“We’re thrilled to present the 8th annual Gotham Jazz Festival,” Soluri says. “We anticipate the kind of energy that only happens when the best hot jazz musicians come together for an unforgettable day that also happens to be one of the best dance events of the year. The entire hot jazz and swing community comes together — be they musicians, dancers or jazz fans. This Festival is an amazing opportunity to hear many of your favorites, all on one day, in a single gorgeous venue.
We’re returning to the exclusive 3 West Club — a private social club from the Gilded Age of old New York City in an incredible location across from Rockefeller Center and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. We can’t wait to see everyone on April 19… Join us!”
